As a zoologist, I have always been interested in the anatomy, physiology, behaviour and athletic abilities of my dogs.  I try to give them outlets to perform some of the activities historically associated with the breed.

Besides being excellent diggers of holes, the Gandale Samoyeds play at conformation showing, hiking/pack hiking, agility, skijoring and dogsledding. We also dip our paws into rally obedience and chase ability/sprinters, and are beginning scent work and herding!
